If you absolutely cannot decide which yoni egg to choose, we recommend Nephrite Jade as it is the traditional stone of the practice (initially used in Taoist Ancient China). If you cannot decide which crystal pleasure wand to choose, the Traditional Rose Quartz Wand is our most popular wand, especially for first-time customers. With a drilled yoni egg, you can thread string through it and create this resistance by pulling on the string while using your pelvic floor muscles to hold the yoni egg in place. Using a combination of conscious breathing techniques, placing the yoni egg in different areas within the vagina, and applying resistance to the yoni egg by pulling on the string, you will notice significant increases in strength, awareness, tone, & sensitivity of your yoni very quickly.

YES! Yoni eggs are very safe. Ever since jade yoni eggs have made their way into mainstream cultural consciousness, many misconceptions have been popping up in the media. One of these misconceptions is the idea that using a yoni egg inside the vagina is unsafe due to the fact that it will cause a yeast infection by harbouring bacteria. This is FALSE! Yoni eggs (as long as they are high quality like ours) are made from solid pieces of stone. These crystals are non-porous and thus will not harbour bacteria as long as the yoni egg is cleaned properly before & after use.

We do NOT recommend beginning the yoni egg practice for your FIRST time if you are pregnant. The yoni egg practice is incredibly powerful at the physical & energetic level - and thus we recommend waiting to begin the practice until after you have given birth.

It is not a REQUIREMENT, as many women enjoy "wearing" their yoni egg without the string. However, we do strongly recommend the use of string so that you can perform the practice in the most effective manner, to experience the greatest benefits. This involves using the string to pull downwards and apply resistance to the yoni egg while using your pelvic floor muscles to hold the egg in place. We describe this method thoroughly in Video 2 of our Free Video Series (subscribe at the very bottom of this page), or on our Youtube Channel (select Blog from the menu above).

Due to the intimate nature of our products, we have a no return policy (no refunds or exchanges) except in the very rare case that the product is damaged upon arrival. In this case, customers should email hello@empoweredwoman.ca immediately and must be able to provide photo evidence of the damaged product. We will then provide an immediate replacement at no extra charge.

We do not take responsibility for instances in which the customer does not receive an order due to entering the incorrect shipping address at checkout. In this case, the customer can re-submit a new order. If the parcel is recovered (i.e. parcel is returned to us due to non-delivery), we will happily re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

If an order is returned to us (i.e. non-delivery due to customer failure to pay customs charges to the respective company), we will happy re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

We are not responsible for custom fees, duties, or taxes imposed upon international customers. In some cases, the customer may be required to pay customs fees to receive the parcel into their country. These charges are unpredictable and are not covered by The Empowered Woman.
