Obsidian is formed when volcanic lava comes into contact with water. This forces it to cool quickly so that it doesn’t have time to crystallize, resulting in a stone with a shiny, glassy texture. Black Obsidian can bring negative emotions and unpleasant truths to the surface, which have to be confronted before peace can return. Benefits include:

All orders are shipped within 3 days of order placement. Upon being shipped, customers receive an email with a tracking number for Canada Post or DHL Express.

• Orders within Canada are shipped as an Expedited Parcel via Canada Post, and take 1-3 days to arrive to you. (In rare cases it can take up to 7 days).
• Standard orders to USA are shipped via Canada Post, and take 4-7 business days to arrive to you.
• Express orders to USA are shipped via DHL Express and take 1-3 days to arrive to you.
• Standard orders to other International destinations are shipped via Canada Post, and take 6-10 business days to arrive to you.
• Express orders to other International destinations are shipped via DHL Express and take 1-3 days to arrive to you.

We ship discretely! Nothing on the outside of the parcel indicates that sexual or pleasure-related contents are inside.

Due to the intimate nature of our products, we have a no return policy (no refunds or exchanges) except in the very rare case that the product is damaged upon arrival. In this case, customers should email courtney@empoweredwoman.ca immediately and must be able to provide photo evidence of the damaged product. We will then provide an immediate replacement at no extra charge.

We do not take responsibility for instances in which the customer does not receive an order due to entering the incorrect shipping address at checkout. In this case, the customer can re-submit a new order. If the parcel is recovered (i.e. parcel is returned to us due to non-delivery), we will happily re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

If a customer does not receive an order due to the parcel being lost or stolen, we file an investigation with Canada Post. If your tracking number indicates that the parcel has been delivered and you have NOT received it, please contact us courtney@empoweredwoman.ca

If an order is returned to us (i.e. non-delivery due to customer failure to pay customs charges to the respective company), we will happy re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

We are not responsible for custom fees, duties, or taxes imposed upon international customers. In some cases, the customer may be required to pay customs fees to receive the parcel into their country. These charges are unpredictable and are not covered by The Empowered Woman.
