Is it Self-Sabotage or Truth?
If you’re wondering whether you are self-sabotaging yourself, or if you just don’t ACTUALLY want to do the thing…
The answer lies in your body.
If I feel a huge contraction around something, I listen to that “no”
And it doesn’t matter to me whether that contraction is due to fear or not.
Because I’m done subscribing to the growth model that requires me to be blasted out of my comfort zone, in nervous system freak-out, for the rest of my life.
Growth can happen AND I can feel safe, at the same time.
Growth can feel juicy, pleasurable, fun, and EASEFUL!
This is the path of growth I choose to experience.
Not the path of overriding the truth of my body.
At a certain point I realized that the PROCESS matters more to me than the OUTCOME (and I was honestly one of the most outcome-oriented people I know)
I want to be in joy WHILE I create.
I want to feel pleasure WHILE I grow.
And this is the reality we can each experience if we choose to.
It comes from a place of radical self-honouring & trust in self.
The idea that you need to PUSH yourself out of your comfort zone in order to grow, is based in fear itself!
I know that growth is inevitable. It happens even & ESPECIALLY when I’m not even trying…
So I’m not worried about needing to “make sure” growth happens.
I am devoted to a life of ease & pleasure.
And I align myself with that life by listening to my body, unconditionally.
