Before You Begin: A Word of Caution
There are a lot of ideas out there about how to properly use a yoni egg to improve sexual health . Some women will simply wear their egg throughout the day, exercise with it in, or even sleep in it.
While some women find that this helps them to bring awareness to their vagina, and/or they want to absorb the healing properties of the crystal into their yoni...
Wearing the egg continuously for long periods of time, or not emphasizing the necessary relaxation intervals when using your yoni egg can contribute to unwanted tension in the vagina.
I also do NOT advise simply wearing your egg throughout the day as it does not involve the TWO MOST IMPORTANT aspects of the yoni egg practice.

How To Use Yoni Eggs For Their Physical Benefits
1. Intention:
When you set aside specific time (you only need 10-15 min!) to do your yoni egg practice, this devoted attention and INTENTION will hugely amplify the results you experience. Where intention goes, energy flows!
You will experience far more noticeable benefits from using your yoni egg when you dedicate time to FOCUS on the practice, bringing your full awareness to your vagina & pelvic region.
2. Resistance:
The reason I only sell drilled yoni eggs is so that you can thread string through them, and pull on the string to create RESISTANCE as you engage your muscles around the egg. The resistance amplifies the effects of this practice in the same way that lifting weights is a lot more effective for creating awareness and strength than simply moving a body part around.

Tips for Using Your Yoni Egg
Feel for the right size. If the egg feels like it’s slipping straight out, it’s too small for where your pelvic floor is today. If it feels heavy or creates pressure, it’s too large. The “just right” size is the one your vagina can actually sense and “catch” without straining.
Choose drilled for peace of mind. Especially in the beginning, having a string threaded through your egg lets your nervous system relax. You’ll focus on the sensations in your vaginal canal instead of worrying about removal.
Lie down to learn your muscles. On your back, you’ll notice how your vaginal wall responds without fighting gravity. You can experiment with small squeezes, gentle lifts, and full releases before you try standing practice.
Breathe your vagina open and closed. On the inhale, imagine your vaginal tissue melting, softening, and releasing. On the exhale, gently “hug” the egg and feel your pelvic floor lift. The rhythm of breath is what turns the practice into deep healing instead of just clenching.
Keep it short and focused. Ten to fifteen minutes is enough. More time doesn’t mean more benefit, in fact, long sessions or wearing your egg overnight can create unnecessary gripping and fatigue in the vaginal muscles.
Balance strength with softness. True pelvic floor strength means knowing how to let go fully after each squeeze. The release is what rewires your body out of tension and into sensitivity.
Track how your body changes. With regular practice, you’ll feel more tone, more circulation, and more awareness inside your vagina. If anything feels sharp, numb, or heavy, that’s your cue to adjust the size of your egg or pause until your body is ready.

        How long do you leave a yoni egg in?
        
For the best physical benefits, a yoni egg should only be gently inserted for a short, focused practice of 10–15 minutes. This allows your pelvic floor muscles to engage and relax in healthy intervals. Leaving the jade egg in for an extended period or sleeping with it can create unwanted vaginal tension. Think of it like pelvic floor training at the gym, you strengthen and release, rather than holding all day.

        What is the difference between Kegel balls and yoni eggs?
        
Kegel balls are typically weighted sex toys designed for pelvic floor exercises. Yoni eggs, by contrast, are egg-shaped stones made of crystals such as Jade or Rose Quartz.
