Yoni is the Sanskrit word for 'sacred temple', and is used to refer to a woman’s vagina.

The yoni egg is an egg shaped semi-precious stone that when used inside the vagina, has healing properties for the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. A yoni egg is worn by a woman inside her vagina, and is an amazing tool that helps tone the lower abdomen as well as the pelvic floor. When these muscles are strong, they help prevent leakage of our life force and sexual energy. In fact, using a yoni egg helps to rev up & circulate sexual energy - thus enhancing sexual health, creativity, energy levels, & libido. The yoni egg is a practice that originated in ancient China in the tradition of Taoism. Traditionally, the stone used for the yoni egg practice has always been nephrite jade. As you use your yoni egg, it is important to set an intention, as your intention for doing the practice can amplify and strengthen the healing effects - including the healing of sexual &/or emotional abuse, trauma, low self-esteem and stagnant energies. The yoni egg practice is particularly beneficial for healing suppressed sexual energy & clearing sexual blocks. The practice of using yoni eggs is often linked to ancient Chinese culture, but recent research suggests these claims may be modern marketing myths.

Many women experience the benefits of using their vaginal jade eggs simply by “wearing” the yoni egg inside their vagina while sleeping, going for a walk, doing yoga, etc. The benefits experienced from this are attributable to the enhanced awareness brought to your yoni from wearing the yoni egg, as well as the crystal healing properties of the unique stone you select.

We sell drilled yoni eggs because the benefits of wearing a yoni egg become hugely amplified when you are able to apply resistance to the yoni egg when it is in your vagina. With a drilled yoni egg, you can thread string through it and create this resistance by pulling on the string while using your pelvic floor muscles to hold the yoni egg in place. Using a combination of conscious breathing techniques, placing the yoni egg in different areas within the vagina, and doing pelvic floor training while applying resistance to the yoni egg by pulling on the string, you will notice significant increases in strength, awareness, tone, & sensitivity of your yoni very quickly. Proper pelvic floor exercises are essential, as continuous contraction of the vaginal muscles can lead to complications. YES! Yoni eggs are very safe. Ever since jade yoni eggs have made their way into mainstream cultural consciousness, many misconceptions have been popping up in the media. One of these misconceptions is the idea that using a yoni jade egg inside the vagina is unsafe due to the fact that it will cause a yeast infection by harbouring bacteria. This is FALSE! Yoni eggs (as long as they are high quality like ours) are made from solid pieces of stone. These crystals are non-porous and thus will not harbour bacteria as long as the yoni egg is cleaned properly before & after use.

We do NOT recommend beginning the yoni egg practice for your FIRST time if you are pregnant. The yoni egg practice is incredibly powerful at the physical & energetic level - and thus we recommend waiting to begin the practice until after you have given birth.

NOTE: Not ALL crystals are safe to use inside the yoni. We have ensured that each crystal product available in our store is SAFE & beneficial for internal use.

We ship discretely! Nothing on the outside of the parcel indicates that sexual or pleasure-related contents are inside.

Due to the intimate nature of our products, we have a no return policy (no refunds or exchanges) except in the very rare case that the product is damaged upon arrival. In this case, customers should email hello@empoweredwoman.ca immediately and must be able to provide photo evidence of the damaged product. We will then provide an immediate replacement at no extra charge.

We do not take responsibility for instances in which the customer does not receive an order due to entering the incorrect shipping address at checkout. In this case, the customer can re-submit a new order. If the parcel is recovered (i.e., parcel is returned to us due to non-delivery), we will happily re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

If a customer does not receive an order due to the parcel being lost or stolen, we file an investigation with Canada Post. If your tracking number indicates that the parcel has been delivered and you have NOT received it, please contact us at hello@empoweredwoman.ca.

If an order is returned to us (i.e., non-delivery due to customer failure to pay customs charges to the respective company), we will happily re-ship the order provided that the customer completes payment for the additional shipping & handling charges.

We are not responsible for custom fees, duties, or taxes imposed upon international customers. In some cases, the customer may be required to pay customs fees to receive the parcel into their country. These charges are unpredictable and are not covered by The Empowered Woman.
